Handouts, Django in June 2018-2019

Hey guys,

Thanks for checking out the class.

Here are the soundslice links to my other classes as well as a bonus. Remember that in order for these to be most useful you need to practice them slowly and as accurately as possible. Take each shape and learn the transitions between them and isolate the ones that give you trouble until they are ironed out.

Some of the chords have multiple shapes to show the inversions of the chords. Learn the shapes and put them together yourself through the form.

The approach of applying the triads + additional notes is the same for the first 3 lesssons.

Remember the goal is to be able to apply these shapes to the chords of any tune. So experiment with your own applications of these shapes.

Thanks for attending my class and listening to what I have to say about gypsy jazz and guitar improvisation. Hope to see you again next year.
